Joaquin Phoenix is once again visible in character as Arthur Fleck in recent images taken on the Joker: Folie à Deux set. Fleck appears unkempt and exhausted in the shots, as though a lot has happened to him after the events of the previous movie. The pictures were taken in New York City.

Arthur Fleck is seen in Joker: Folie à Deux photographs wearing a soiled and ash-covered costume, indicating that he may have been involved in some type of mishap or catastrophe. His face paint is partially rubbed away, but the traces hint that he has been up to naught good.
Joker accompanied Arthur Fleck, played by Joaquin Phoenix when he changed into the Clown Prince of Crime, and it now appears that Harleen Quinzel will follow him into lunacy in Folie à Deux, with Lady Gaga portraying the DC Comics villain. For his portrayal of The Joker, Phoenix won an Oscar.
It’s probable that Harleen Quinzel will begin as the Joker’s psychiatrist, as she has in prior renditions, considering the original movie left up with Arthur Fleck in Arkham State Hospital. The sequel’s plot is being kept a secret, but a sizable portion is anticipated to take place in Arkham.
Joker: Folie à Deux is being directed by Todd Phillips from a screenplay that he and Scott Silver, who also contributed to the original, co-wrote. A release in October 2024 is presently under production.
Brendan Gleeson, Zazie Beetz, Catherine Keener, Jacob Lofland, and Harry Lawtey are also included in the cast of Folie à Deux.
There are presently 4K UHD, Blu-ray, DVD, and digital versions of the first Joker movie available.
