To mark the completion of Folie à Deux production, Todd Phillips, the director of Joker 2, has unveiled two brand-new images. The images feature Joaquin Phoenix’s Arthur Fleck and Lady Gaga’s Harley Quinn. The current release date for the DC drama is October 4, 2024.

Joker: Todd Phillips will once more serve as the film’s director. The titular DC villain from the film, played by Joaquin Phoenix, will make a return appearance. He will be joined by Lady Gaga, the Grammy-winning diva who plays Harley Quinn. Sophie from the first movie, starring Zazie Beetz, as well as series newcomers Brendan Gleeson, Catherine Keener, Jacob Lofland, and Harry Lawtey will also appear in the follow-up.
The 2019 movie was a critical and financial triumph, earning more than $1 billion worldwide at the box office to become the most successful R-rated movie of all time. It was honored by numerous prestigious awarding organizations, winning two Oscars and two Golden Globes for Best Actor and Best Original Sound, respectively.
