John Cena has changed agencies, signing with WME for representation in all areas one day after his longtime agency departed ICM Partners to form his own management business. Dan Baime, who left ICM Partners to form Intenta Management, will continue to represent Cena.
Cena‘s remarkable year got off with his role as Peacemaker in Warner Bros. and DC Films’ The Suicide Squad. WB and DC were so pleased with his performance in the film that they developed a Peacemaker series for HBO Max. That show received such positive critical reception and steady viewers that HBO Max has subsequently renewed it for a second season. Also on television, John Cena hosts and acts as executive producer for the Turner competition show Wipeout.
On the cinematic side, John Cena starred with Vin Diesel in the most recent installment of The Fast and the Furious franchise, F9, and he is anticipated to resume the role in Fast X.
Additionally, Cena stars in the action-comedy flick Officer Exchange, which Amazon Studios acquired last month. Amazon has already acquired the action film Heads of State, in which John Cena would co-star opposite Idris Elba.
Currently, John Cena is filming the Warner Bros. movie Coyote vs. Acme. Additionally, he is represented by Johnson Shapiro Slewett & Kole.
