The cast of The Hunger Games: The Ballad of Songbirds and Snakes now includes Jason Schwartzman.

The Ballad of Songbirds and Snakes is the next installment of The Hunger Games series. The 2020 prequel novel will be adapted for the forthcoming movie. The plot centers on a teenage Coriolanus Snow, who participates in a battle royale and develops feelings for Lucy Gray Baird, his instructor. Jason Schwartzman will appear in the 2023 movie, Lionsgate has announced as casting continues before shooting starts.
Interview host Lucretius “Lucky” Flickerman will be portrayed by Spider-Verse actor Jason Schwartzman in The Hunger Games: The Ballad of Songbirds and Snakes. The original films featured Stanley Tucci as Caesar, a relative of Lucky.
The upcoming movie will be directed by Francis Lawrence and has a screenplay by Michael Lesslie, Michael Arndt, and author Suzanne Collins.
