James Gunn, director of the critically-acclaimed The Suicide Squad, revealed his top three favorite television series. Gunn began his Hollywood career in the 1990s as a screenwriter for the independent black comedy, Tromeo and Juliet. After venturing into both comedy and horror with his scripts for the 2002 live-action Scooby-Doo and the 2004 remake of George Romero’s Dawn of the Dead, Gunn made his directorial debut with the cult horror film Slither, which combines both genres. The writer/director then turned to superheroes, both penning the script for and directing the award-winning Guardians of the Galaxy and its sequel, Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2.
