Regan Aliyah (XO, Kitty) has joined the cast of the Disney+ series Ironheart from Marvel Studios in an unspecified capacity.
Reps for Marvel declined to comment.
Dominique Thorne will play the Marvel character Riri Williams, a brilliant inventor who constructed the most sophisticated suit of armor since Iron Man, in the six-episode series written by Chinaka Hodge. Manny Montana, Anthony Ramos, Alden Ehrenreich, Shea Couleé, and Zoe Terakes are also part of the previously revealed cast.
Ryan Coogler’s Proximity is one of the production companies, while Sam Bailey and Angela Barnes are directing the movie. Together with Kevin Feige, Victoria Alonso, Louis D’Esposito, Brad Winderbaum, and Zoie Nagelhout from Marvel Studios, Ryan Coogler, Zinzi Coogler, and Sev Ohanian serve as executive producers for Ironheart.
Aliyah is an actor and rapper who will next make a regular appearance in the Netflix series To All The Boys I Loved Before spinoff, XO, Kitty. She has already made many short films and the TV miniseries Club Mickey Mouse.
