Marvel Studios’ upcoming animated series I Am Groot, starring Baby Groot getting into all sorts of trouble, is set to roll out later this summer, according to an unexpected statement on Sunday.
The show is slated to hit Disney+ on August 10th, 2021. Additionally, a new poster for the film I Am Groot was dropped, showcasing the familiar character from the Guardians of the Galaxy series unwinding while wearing sunglasses and listening to music.

I Am Groot is a series of original shorts chronicling Baby Groot‘s golden days as he grows up and gets into trouble among the stars. Kirsten Lepore serves as the executive producer and director.
