
Produced by LeBron James, the film is around a disillusioned basketball scout (Sandler) as he discovers a brilliant athlete (Juancho Hernangómez) with a checkered background on Spain’s street basketball courts. Returning to the United States, the pair battles against all obstacles to prove they have what it takes to succeed in the NBA.
Kenny Smith, Queen Latifah, Ben Foster, Ainhoa Pillet, Jordan Elizabeth Hull, Raul Castillo, Maria Botto, Heidi Gardner, and Robert Duvall round out the cast of “Hustle.” Hernangómez makes his acting debut as a Spanish-born NBA player for the Utah Jazz.
Jeremiah Zagar directs the film while Taylor Materne and Will Fetters penned the script.
