The Lionsgate prequel Hunger Games: The Ballad of Songbirds and Snakes, directed by Francis Lawrence, has added a third batch of performers to play mentors and tributes from Suzanne Collins’ YA novel.

Festus Creed, a mentor to a tribute from District 4, will be played by Max Raphael. Lysistrata Vickers, a mentor to a District 12 tribute, will be played by Zoe Renee. The mentor to a District 7 homage, Pliny “Pup” Harrington, will be played by Ayomide Adegun. The homage from District 10’s mentor, Domita Whimsiwick, will be portrayed by Kaitlyn Akinpelumi. Wovey, a tribute from District 8, will be portrayed by Sofia Sanchez, while Vipsania Sickle, a mentor to a tribute from District 7, will be portrayed by Amélie Hoeferle.
Along with two earlier rounds of mentors and tributes, they join previously revealed cast members Jason Schwartzman, Tom Blyth, Hunter Schafer, Rachel Zegler, and Josh Andrés Rivera.
The prequel will presently be seen in theaters on November 17, 2023.
