Coming in December is the ideal Christmas present for every House of the Dragon lover. We recently found out about the amazing bonus features that will be included with the House of the Dragon Season 1 Blu-ray.
The House of the Dragon Season 1 Blu-ray will be released on December 20, 2022, according to a statement from HBO. On Amazon, though, you may presently place a pre-order.
Currently, House of the Dragon: The Complete First Season may be bought digitally. Two never-before-seen featurettes and nearly an hour of supplementary content are included in the retail and digital editions, respectively.
The physical release will be available in a variety of formats. This includes a unique 4K UHD Steelbook edition that also comes with the Blu-ray and the regular 4K UHD, Blu-ray, and DVD editions.
While we’re excited to purchase the House of the Dragon Season 1 DVD and Blu-ray, we’re also interested in learning when the show’s second season will be available. Fans will regrettably have to wait a bit longer for Season 2 of the Game of Thrones prequel.
In an earlier article, HBO Max Chief Content Officer Casey Bloys predicted that the second season of House of the Dragon will air sometime in 2024. Bloys claims that late 2023 is overly optimistic and that a later target date would be more prudent.
The Blu-ray and DVD for House of the Dragon: The Complete First Season will be available on December 20, 2022. There is no confirmed release date for House of the Dragon Season 2.
