For the season one finale of the popular show House of the Dragon, HBO has unveiled an official teaser.

HBO has released a teaser trailer for the impending finale of the Game of Thrones prequel series following the devastating conclusion of the first season’s penultimate episode of House of the Dragon. The HBO series’ conclusion, which airs this Sunday, begins shortly after the events of episode nine, in which Paddy Considine’s Viserys II was killed and Tom Glynn-Aegon Carney’s II Targaryen assumed the throne. Fans may get a sneak peek at Rhaenys Targaryen telling Rhaenyra and her family about Aegon II’s coronation in the House of the Dragon teaser. Throughout the sneak preview, there are images of Aemond Targaryen, other Greens, and Vermithor, the dragon owned by the late Jaehaerys I Targaryen. The battle between the dragons Arrax and Vhagar is then hinted at in the trailer.
The first season of House of the Dragon was co-showrunner by Miguel Sapochnik and Ryan J. Condal. Along with George R. R. Martin, they also served as executive producers for the season. Matt Smith, Olivia Cooke, Emma D’Arcy, Paddy Considine, Rhys Ifans, Steve Toussaint, Eve Best, and Sonoya Mizuno are among the series’ impressive cast members.
