The massive Easter egg in House of the Dragon that exposed the truth about the Song of Ice and Fire is the topic of nonstop conversation. But the prequel series also had another subtly hidden Easter egg that alluded to the potential following Game of Thrones spin-off. Additionally, it has a fascinating relation to Arya Stark!

Rhaenyra Targaryen is uninterested while the youthful Alicent Hightower learns Westerosi history in House of the Dragon Episode 1. Rhaenyra responds evasively to Alicent’s inquiries concerning Princess Nymeria. The historical princess is fully described by Rhaenyra, who also mentions the 10,000 ships she led to Dorne where she captured Lord Mors Martell, just as Alicent starts to leave. In order to demonstrate that they had discovered their new home, Rhaenyra also revealed that Nymeria burnt off her own fleet.
While it’s a wonderful moment demonstrating Rhaenyra’s intelligence, Princess Nymeria’s narrative is the basis of another Game of Thrones spin-off, 10,000 Ships, which is still in the works. This makes it an intriguing subject to research. It’s possible that Nymeria, which is mentioned in House of the Dragon, will be the next program to go into production.
It is barely necessary to introduce Princess Nymeria. She is after all one of the most well-known figures in A Song of Ice and Fire, and legends of her exploits are spoken about her all throughout Westeros. Nymeria may not have been in Game of Thrones, but the series had two characters with her name. The princess was also the inspiration for Arya Stark’s naming of the Sand Snake Nym and her dire wolf. Arya even made reference to the princess herself at one point.
As of right moment, it is still unknown if 10,000 Ships will replace Game of Thrones.
House of the Dragon Season 2 has been formally announced in the interim.
