It’s Sunday again, which means another episode of House of the Dragon. So, what can we look forward to in Episode 7? Tragically, it appears as the Targaryens and Velaryons will reunite. Such a large-scale reunion may only result in increased unrest among the key figures in the Game of Thrones.
The Targaryens and Velaryons congregate for Laena Velaryon’s burial in the House of the Dragon Episode 7 teaser, which was released shortly after last week’s episode. The trailer has a sad tone, but as soon as Baela and Rhaena Targaryen start talking quietly about Vhagar being taken, everything becomes chaotic.
All of the family members are naturally called to the scene when a dragon is stolen, and though it isn’t made clear who took Vhagar, it seems to be generating friction between Rhaenyra Targaryen and Alicent Hightower. It goes without saying that this is one reunion to keep an eye on.
In celebration of Laena Velaryon, who chose her own path to death after a challenging delivery, everyone will assemble at the Velaryons’ house in Driftmark in the upcoming episode. We catch a peek at the Velaryons’ distinctive practices in the teaser, one of which includes casting a statue of Laena into the water.
With Driftmark expected to play a significant role in House of the Dragon Episode 7, the Velaryons’ seat is sure to see a lot of mayhem later tonight.
