House of the Dragon Episode 6 Preview Confirms Olivia Cooke And Emma D’Arcy To Join As Rhaenyra and Alicent

Another significant time jump is planned for House of the Dragon Episode 6.

As circumstances in King’s Landing become even more convoluted, House of the Dragon isn’t slowing down. The most recent episode forced Rhaenyra Targaryen and Alicent Hightower to resume their power struggle, and this conflict will go on for a very long time. Another significant time jump is promised in the promo for House of the Dragon Episode 6, and this time, Emma D’Arcy and Olivia Cooke will be filling in as the adult Rhaenyra and Alicent.

In the House of the Dragon episode 6 teaser, the Small Council is once more convening to talk about a problem with the Stepstones. It doesn’t take long until Alicent and Rhaenyra engage in conversation about Daemon Targaryen.

In addition to witnessing Rhaenyra and Alicent as adults, we also get to see how diverse their offspring are from one another. The offspring of Alicent are depicted with their father the King’s silver hair, whereas those of Rhaenyra seem to have brown hair. No one is more interested in finding out the truth than the queen herself, who is naturally curious as to why the princess gave birth to children with dark hair.

The sixth episode of House of the Dragon will be the first to feature Olivia Cooke as Alicent and Emma D’Arcy as Rhaenyra. Former actors Milly Alcock and Emily Carey did a fantastic job laying out the complexity of the relationship between the queen and the princess when they performed the parts in the past. Although it’s sad to see Alcock and Carey depart, we’re excited to see D’Arcy and Cooke the next week.

HBO Max is now showing House of the Dragon Episode 5. On Sunday, September 25, 2022, at 9:00 PM EST, the sixth episode of House of the Dragon, titled The Princess and The Queen, will make its debut.
