The House of the Dragon‘s new cast portraying the major characters has just been unveiled, and Episode 6 has officially here. As Alicent Hightower and Rhaenyra Targaryen, Emma D’Arcy, and Olivia Cooke have recently made their acting debuts. As the two ladies start to play the game of thrones, it should come as no surprise that The Princess and The Queen deliver us one last time jump and numerous power plays between the two.
The third son of Rhaenyra Targaryen is born at the beginning of the episode, and the queen calls him immediately. This leads to that really upsetting scene where Rhaenyra and Ser Laenor Velaryon approach the queen and she remarks that the child does not resemble the princess’s spouse.
Of course, it’s a power move, but Alicent has another justification for wanting to see the infant. Everyone believes that Ser Harwin Strong, the Commander of the City Watch, is the father of Rhaenyra’s elder boys since they both were born with dark hair.

In fact, Harwin has a fatherly affection for the princes and would even stand up for them when a playful fight with the king’s sons turns serious. Unfortunately, this results in an altercation between Ser Criston Cole and Harwin, maybe one that was intentionally prepared to show the lads’ superiority.
The sixth episode of House of the Dragon essentially confirms Alicent Hightower’s intention to train her son Aegon II Targaryen as the new heir. The majority of her power plays are by her, but Larys Strong, who seems to be participating in the Game of Thrones as well, pulled out the last maneuver in The Princess and the Queen with a cunning and ruthless play.
HBO Max now has the most recent episode of House of the Dragon. Driftmark, the title of House of the Dragon Episode 7, is scheduled to air on HBO on Sunday, October 2, 2022, at 9:00 PM EST.
