The first teaser trailer for Hocus Pocus 2 garnered 43.6 million views in its first 24 hours on Disney+.
The clip, which debuted on June 28, beat high-profile Disney+ branded material such as The Book of Boba Fett (23 million), Luca (28 million), and Mandalorian teasers for the first two seasons (35 million apiece).

Following the release of the teaser, #HocusPocus rose to the #1 trend of the day on Twitter. The gender balance of the comparisons was likewise the best on social media, with 51% men and 49% women.
Sam Richardson, Froyan Gutierrez, Hannah Waddingham, Doug Jones, and Tony Hale are among the other actors that appear in Hocus Pocus 2.
The sequel premieres on Disney+ on September 30.
