Disney+ officially confirmed the premiere date of Season 3 of ‘High School Musical: The Musical: The Series’. At the same time, The theater kids of East High are rehearsing for Season 4 of this well-known musical series.

Specifically, Disney+ announced that the series will come out on July 27. It will also premiere on the streamer on that day. Recently, this film studio released the first trailer from Season 3. The trailer shows Corbin Bleu – one of the original cast members from the film series “High School Musical” will still join the movies but he just appears in a guest role.

‘High School Musical: The Musical: The Series‘ was inspired by the famous Channel Original Movies of Disney called “High School Musical”. The series was shot at East High School which is located in Salt Lake City, Utah. It was set in the fictional Camp Shallow Lake where the kids of East High will be tasked with putting on a production of “Frozen”. This is also the place Disney produced their annual musicals, including the stage version of “High School Musical” in the first season and “Beauty and the Beast” in the second one.

According to a Disney+ spokesperson, some new faces join the Wildcats for the upcoming musical, as well as some old ones. The main cast to return as series regulars for Season 3 includes Julia Lester, Dara Reneé, Joshua, Matt Cornett, Sofia Wylie, and Frankie Rodriguez, while Kate Reinders and Olivia Rose Keegan will also return to the new season as recurring cast members. We will also feature Jason Earles, Bleu, Meg Donnelly, and Olivia Rose Keegan in guest roles in the new season.

‘High School Musical: the Musical: The Series‘ has been positively received, with critical reviews highlighting the performances of the cast, especially those of Bassett and Rodrigo. The series won a GLAAD Media Award in 2020 for Outstanding Kids & Family Programming and three Kids Choice Awards. It was created and executive produced by Tim Federle – an American author, theater librettist, director and screenwriter whose best-known works. Olivia Isabel Rodrigo, an American actress, and Grammy Award-winning singer is one of the most famous cast members of this series.
