The predicted D23 visit by the Superman actor didn’t take place.

Henry Cavill‘s future in Hollywood is a subject of intense speculation, and because many believe that the Man of Steel actor’s run as Superman in the DC Extended Universe is nearly up, there have been persistent speculations that Cavill will join the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Cavill, who is widely reported to be making his debut in Loki Season 2 as the evil Hyperion, didn’t attend the Disney extravaganza, much to the dismay of fans.
According to a number of sources, as D23 drew near, including reporter Emmet Kennedy, the British actor will be one of the surprises Marvel Studios would pull at their MCU presentation.
As of right now, Cavill’s participation in the DCEU and MCU is still out in the air, but HBO Max’s most recent update appears to offer encouraging hints regarding Cavill‘s future as Kal El. It turns out that the streaming service upgraded its collection of profile pictures and included a number of DCEU characters, including the Last Son of Krypton himself, Batman, and Wonder Woman, played by Gal Gadot.
Interesting was the addition of Ray Fisher’s Cyborg to the list of available profile pictures. Examine it below:
It is true that nothing has been confirmed by this, but I believe we have established over the past few years that Warner Bros. has excluded Cavill from the DC Extended Universe. A recent rumor said that Warner Bros. While we haven’t seen anything yet, Discovery CEO David Zaslav is apparently interested in getting Cavill back into the brand in order to restore some credibility.
Despite recent WB Discovery delays, DC’s Black Adam is still scheduled to open in theaters on October 21, 2023.
