In commemoration of Bruce Lee’s death anniversary, the famed martial artist’s daughter Shannon Lee confirmed on Twitter that filming for the highly anticipated third season of the martial arts drama Warrior will kick off on July 18.
This comes less than two years after the 10-episode second season of the Andrew Koji-led series wrapped up on Cinemax. The next third season of Warrior is now anticipated to premiere on HBO Max.

The film is set in San Francisco’s Chinatown during the Tong Wars of the late 19th century.
Additionally, Warrior’s executive producers are Justin Lin (F9: The Fast Saga), Shannon Lee for Bruce Lee Entertainment, Andre Schneider and Brad Danielle Woodrow for Perfect Storm Entertainment, and Kane and Richard Sharkey.
