Hayao Miyazaki is well-known in the anime and cinema worlds, having directed Studio Ghibli‘s significant blockbusters such as Spirited Away, Grave of the Fireflies, and Princess Mononoke, to mention a few.

Miyazaki will come out of retirement following the release of the studio’s most recent picture, Earwig and the Witch, to work on his final project for the company. He will be working on a cinematic version of the 1937 novel How Do You Live? in the near future.
According to a recent interview with the New York Times, Miyazaki said it will be a large-scale fantasy film. How Do You Live? is about a 15-year-old kid in Tokyo who recently lost his father. The befuddled adolescent walks out into the city in search of himself and his purpose.

Five of Studio Ghibli’s films are among Japan’s top 10 highest-grossing anime feature films. Spirted Away, which earned 31.68 billion yen in 2001, and Princess Mononoke, which earned 20.18 billion yen, were two of their highest-grossing films.
Because of Miyazaki’s retirement, the company temporarily halted work in August 2014. Then, in February 2017, producer Toshio Suzuki revealed that Miyazaki will come out of retirement to helm How Do You Live?, a forthcoming feature film.
As of yet, there is no information on overseas screenings of the picture, but many are excited to see what Miyazaki has in store for his final feature to direct.
