In a new deleted shot from the current Disney+ MCU series Hawkeye, Clint Barton explains why he became an arrow-shooting Avenger.

In a weeded out scene from Clint Barton’s show Hawkeye, the character’s reason for becoming a superhero is revealed. The series premiered on Disney+ in November 2021, and it was the MCU’s first Christmas-themed episode. Hawkeye was warmly welcomed by reviewers and fans alike, who appreciated the show’s lighthearted tone and were excited to see Kingpin and Yelena Romanoff make appearances. The show not only brought back familiar names but also introduced viewers to a slew of new ones. Hailee Steinfeld makes her Marvel Cinematic Universe debut as archer Kate Bishop in Hawkeye.

Hawkeye and Bishop, who was inspired to take up her bow by the original Avenger himself, battled subterranean crime networks in an attempt to deal with Barton’s vigilante past as Ronin in the series. Bishop’s mother had been associated with Kingpin while lying to her daughter, according to the series, which took many twists and turns. The series also looked at the mental impact of Blip, triggered by Thanos, on Hawkeye and his family at the conclusion of Avengers: Infinity War, as well as the physical toll his tenure as a superhero has done on him.

Fans can now see Clint Barton’s decision to become Hawkeye and his deeper motives in a freshly revealed deleted clip from the series published by Cloud Commentary. The movie depicts a young Clint with his mother at a fair, where https://kiierr.com/propecia/ they play and win target-practice games. At his parent’s urging, he also uses his skill to steal precious objects from passers-by in the scenes. When the young Barton challenges the legality and morality of the thievery, asking whether “it’s alright to do evil things to bad people?” his mother agrees and explains his actions by reminding him that the only way to determine good from bad is to listen to your heart. Take a look at the whole video below:

Fans have been yearning for more details about Hawkeye’s motivations since his debut, and they’ll be thrilled to learn more in the deleted scenes. The allusion to the English legend of Robin Hood at the start will further pique the interest of viewers, who will draw a parallel between the two bow-wielding heroes and their desire to aid people less fortunate than themselves. While Hawkeye isn’t the most powerful member of the Avengers, the additional information about his motive makes him one of the most lovable. Following WandaVision, Loki, and The Falcon and the Winter Soldier, Hawkeye was Disney+’s fourth live-action MCU program. Unfortunately for fans, it was a limited series with only one season planned. When the spinoff series Echo premieres in the future, though, viewers will be able to revisit some of the show’s characters. That show will most likely pick up where Hawkeye left off, and it is possible that Barton and Bishop will make a return, though nothing has been confirmed.
