The brand-new trailer for Indiana Jones and the Dial of Destiny features Harrison Ford reprising his legendary performance as Indiana Jones.
At this year’s Star Wars Celebration in the UK, the second Indiana Jones and the Dial of Destiny made its appearance at the Lucasfilm showcase panel. Check out the sneak look and the gorgeous poster starring the movie’s core cast in the sections below.
Producing partners Simon Emanuel, Frank Marshall, and Kathleen Kennedy are responsible for Indiana Jones and the Dial of Destiny. The film continues the Indiana Jones saga, which was launched in 1981 with Raiders of the Lost Ark.
Disney and Lucasfilm are also creating a new television series based in the same universe as the movies in addition to Indiana Jones and the Dial of Destiny. A young Abner Ravenwood will play a key role in the series, which is being envisioned as a prequel to 1981’s Raiders of the Lost Ark. In Karen Allen’s book, Abner serves as Marion Ravenwood’s father and Indiana Jones’ mentor.
The Indiana Jones franchise would make its first appearance on television since the 1990s if the television series continues. Previously, Indy starred in four television specials from the Family Channel, a network that is now known as Freeform, as well as The Young Indiana Jones Chronicles on ABC. In one of the episodes of The Young Indiana Jones Chronicles, which also starred Sean Patrick Flanery, Corey Carrier, and George Hall and had the four actors portraying the title character at different points in his life, Harrison Ford made an appearance.
In Indiana Jones and the Dial of Destiny, which was directed by James Mangold, Mads Mikkelsen, Thomas Kretschmann, Boyd Holbrook, Shaunette Renée Wilson, and Toby Jones also appear. The script was co-written by Jez Butterworth, John-Henry Butterworth, and Mangold.
