James Gunn‘s Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 is off to a great start in the North American box office.
According to reports, Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 made $17.5 million on Thursday night previews. The Marvel Studios film also made $35 million from 47 international countries.
Given that he has already taken the coveted position of the new co-CEO of DC Studios alongside movie producer Peter Safran, James Gunn has highlighted that Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 is his final picture for the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Writing and directing Superman: Legacy, a remake that explores a younger Clark Kent and departs from the most current rendition with Henry Cavill, is one of his first responsibilities in his new post.
Chris Pratt is the lead actor in James Gunn’s third installment of the Guardians of the Galaxy series, together with Zoe Saldana, Karen Gillan, Dave Bautista, Vin Diesel, Elizabeth Debicki, Sylvester Stallone, Bradley Cooper, Sean Gunn, Will Poulter, Chukwudi Iwuji, Pom Klementieff, and Maria Bakalova.
