Star-Lord and the rest of the Guardians will board Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 for the last time in less than a week. Marvel’s latest is looking to be Certified Fresh as early reviews start to roll in.

In the Marvel Cinematic Universe, Guardians of the Galaxy has always enjoyed widespread acclaim for its invigorating quirkiness and heartfelt central message. No movie in its series, including the Holiday Special, has ever had a Rotten Tomatoes score below 80%. According to a few early evaluations, Vol. 3 follows this tendency, receiving an average rating of 80% on the website. This places the movie just behind Vol. 2, which received a score of 85% from critics.
Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 has received extremely positive initial responses on social media, with people applauding it as the ideal conclusion to an incredible franchise full of smiles and tears. Marvel fans won’t have to wait long to form their own opinions after seeing the movie, which is scheduled to come out on Friday. At least temporarily.
