We learned a few months back that The CW is developing a Gotham Knights TV series, which was quickly ordered to pilot. Fortunately, the network has just given the project a series order as part of their upcoming broadcast season slate. Finally, we get our first look at the new DC series.
The CW has published a first look image for Gotham Knights, which features the show’s logo and a peek of the show’s young adult main protagonists standing in a Gotham City street. You may find it here:

Along with Sarah Schechter, Greg Berlanti, and Chad Fiveash, James Stoteraux, David Madden, and Natalie Abrams co-wrote the series and acted as executive producers. The pilot was directed and executive produced by Danny Cannon. The show is based on characters developed by Bob Kane and Bill Finger for DC Comics.
While the first look image doesn’t reveal much about the series because it’s simply a promotional banner, it’s nonetheless fascinating because it offers us an idea about the series, which appears to center on Gotham City from the perspective of young adults. Obviously, once the trailer is out, we will have a better picture of the series.
