The CW’s Gotham Knights, which has been given the go-ahead and is set to arrive in 2023, has just dropped a new trailer.
The Batwoman trio of Chad Fiveash, James Stoteraux, and Natalie Abrams is also behind Gotham Knights‘ screenplay, which is based on characters developed for DC by Bob Kane and Bill Finger. It begins in the aftermath of Bruce Wayne’s death, with his rebellious adopted son Turner Hayes (Oscar Morgan) forging an unlikely alliance with the children of Batman’s enemies—Duela (Olivia Rose Keegan), Harper Row (Fallon Smythe), and Cullen Row (Tyler DiChiara)—when they are all accused of killing the Caped Crusader.
As the most sought criminals in the city, this renegade gang of outcasts must put up a fight to clear their names. But in a Gotham where there is no Dark Knight to guard it, the city devolves into the most deadly it has ever been. However, hope sprouts in the most unlikely places, as this gang of mismatched fugitives will become the Gotham Knights, the city’s new generation of saviors.
Misha Collins of Supernatural portrays District Attorney Harvey Dent, who is actively investigating the death of Batman.
