The sequel to 2019’s Knives Out, Glass Onion: A Knives Out Mystery, will have a unique sneak screening event in cinemas before its streaming release, according to Netflix.

The Knives Out sequel will be shown for one week, from November 23 to November 29, in over 600 cinemas across the United States and more locations abroad. This provides viewers the chance to watch the movie on a large screen a month before it debuts on Netflix on December 23. The official website for Glass Onion: A Knives Out Mystery offers tickets for theatrical performances.

Using Twitter, director Rian Johnson discussed the little event:

PEOPLE OF TWITTER!  Leading up to our big Christmas release on Netflix, this Thanksgiving GLASS ONION will have a special one week only THEATRICAL SNEAK PREVIEW EVENT!! HUGE thanks to @AMCTheatres @RegalMovies @Cinemark and more. I’m very, VERY excited about this.

The sequel to Rian Johnson’s Knives Out, Glass Onion: A Knives Out Mystery, will be set in Greece and star Daniel Craig as Benoit Blanc. September 2021 marked the end of production on the sequel. Johnson and Ram Bergman are collaborating on the film’s production under their T-Street Productions label.

In addition to Kathryn Hahn, Ethan Hawke, Edward Norton, and Dave Bautista, Daniel Craig will reprise his role as Private Detective Benoit Blanc. Other cast members include Kate Hudson, Janelle Monáe, Leslie Odom Jr., Jessica Henwick, and Madelyn Cline.
