Finally, fans of Netflix’s The Witcher can wait until the new Season 2 teaser is released. Only two months left until the launch of the most welcomed fantasy epics series and fans are getting even more thrilled with the official teaser.
The teaser concentrates on the Continent’s struggles, including the continuing battle between the North and the South, which is illustrated with tons of wonderfully choreographed combat and stunning mystical aspects. Viewers can witness glimpses of Geralt of Rivia (Henry Cavill) fighting against several peculiar Witcherverse beasts. Amongst the most awaited event, though, is the connection that grows between Ciri (Freya Allen), the Child of Surprise, and Geralt. Not only accept to receive a weapon from Geralt but Ciri also embraces her destiny to become a vital participant. Accordingly, we can easily imply from the video trailer that she starts to conduct herself more maturely and seems to receive hardcore training at Kaer Morhen.
Besides, other casts namely Tissaia (MyAnna Buring) and Yennefer (Anya Chalotra) also appeared tired and tattered after the violent battle of the lastest part of Season 1 “Much More”. Last but not least, the trailer obviously can not lack our beloved bard Jaskier (Joey Batey).

Also, we can not help but mention a list of new faces such as Yasen Atour as Coen, Agnes Bjorn as Vereena, Aisha Fabienne Ross as Lydia, Basil Eidenbenz as Eskel, Mecia Simson as Francesca, Kim Bodnia as Vesemir, and Paul Bullion as Lambert. Nenneke, another teacher and mother figure for Geralt is portrayed by Bridgerton’s Adjoa Andoh, whereas Dijkstra, a villainous spymaster, is played by Outlander’s Graham McTavish. Other characters as Simon Callow and Liz Carr as Codringher and Fenn, respectively, along with Cassie Clare as Philippa Eilhart, leading the Lodge of Sorceresses, Kevin Doyle as Ba’lian, and Chris Fulton as Rience are also included in Season 2.
The Witcher’s next season will be released on December 17 on Netflix. Watch Season 2’s teaser video and poster art right now:
