Francis Lawrence is also on board to helm the follow-up to the 2005 movie, which will see Keanu Reeves reprise his role as John Constantine.

It’s commonly known that J.J. Abrams and Bad Robot have been working on a new Constantine series for HBO Max, but it appears Warner Bros. Discovery is taking a different approach. A follow-up to the 2005 movie Constantine is in the works, and Keanu Reeves and Francis Lawrence will be back.
The sequel to Constantine will still feature J.J. Abrams, and Akiva Goldsman will once again produce and create the script. Even though the first DC movie has been out for 17 years, it is still regarded as a classic among geeks.
A Constantine sequel starring Keanu Reeves may also provide light on Warner Bros. Discovery’s ambitions for DC and signal the potential resurrection of other dormant series. We also know that the studio is seeking a replacement for “Kevin Feige” in the DC universe.
Keanu Reeves, Rachel Weisz, Shia LaBeouf, and Tilda Swinton will star in the sequel. Other cast members of Francis Lawrence’s movie include Pruitt Taylor Vince, Djimon Hounsou, Gavin Rossdale, and Peter Stormare.
The media formats for Constantine are Blu-ray, DVD, and digital.
