‘Jack Reacher‘ breakthrough actor Alan Ritchson joins the star-studded cast of the Fast and Furious franchise in Fast X, the 10th installment in the Fast and Furious franchise. Ritchson is coming on board just as the film has decided to replace Justin Lin with Louis Letterier in the director’s chair. The long-awaited flick is now filming with the return of Vin Diesel and the core ‘Fast & Furious’ veterans, together with series newcomers Jason Momoa and Brie Larson.
The script was written collaboratively by Lin and Dan Mazeau. Alongside Diesel, Neal Moritz, Jeff Kirschenbaum, and Samantha Vincent, Lin will resume his role as a producer moving forward.
Following his breakout role as Jack Reacher in Prime Video’s Jack Reacher series, Ritchson looks like a great choice for this property. Ritchson should be right up there with Diesel, Momoa, and John Cena when it comes to mind-blowing set pieces.
Ordinary Angels, in which he will star with Hilary Swank, will be his next project. He made his debut as a director for Lionsgate with Dark Web: Cicada 3301, a film that he not only acted in but also created.
