The new images from the Fast X, the upcoming sequel in the Fast and Furious series set give the first glimpse of Aquaman actor Jason Momoa as the highly anticipated tenth installment’s new villain.
This year began with the announcement that Jason Momoa will be joining the cast of Fast X. After some speculation, it’s been revealed that he’ll land a villain role along with Charlize Theron‘s Cipher, who will be making a comeback to the Fast & Furious franchise. Little is known about the Momoa’s character or the plot of the film itself. However, fresh set images provide us the first glimpse of Momoa in action.
The photographs from the set of Fast X show a trendy Jason Momoa in his role as the antagonist. In addition to a snakeskin jacket, leather leggings, and sunglasses, the actor is also putting on a pair of chains around his neck. He may be seen on the set conducting a motorbike stunt, which involves riding a bike up a series of stone stairs, which was filmed in Rome, Italy. Take a look at the following tweet for further photos:
In recent years, Momoa has mostly been featured in heroic characters, such as the DC Comics superhero Aquaman and the Dune character Duncan Idaho, but Fast X will be a new challenge for him to try his hand at villain roles. Brie Larson, who starred in Captain Marvel, will also make her Fast & Furious debut in the film, while the majority of the last film’s principal cast is set to reprise their roles as well.
