Brie Larson‘s new character in eagerly-awaited Fast has been teased in a new Vin Diesel‘s post sharing a photo of two of them on the film’s set.
As of right now, Fast X, the tenth film in the Fast & Furious franchise, is underway. Louis Leterrier has taken over as director after the film hit a snag ass Justin Lin, the franchise’s longtime director, stepped down from the director’s chair. Brie Larson is one of the new cast members, in addition to the returning of many familiar faces, including Vin Diesel, who reprises his role as Dom Toretto.
Fueled by excitement for the newcomer to the Fast and the Furious franchise, Diesel lauds the newest member of the Fast X cast in an Instagram post as someone who will bring some big change to the series, as well as the rest of the “family.”

There is speculation that Brie Larson will take on a significant role in Fast X, which joins Dom Toretto‘s “family” in some way despite the fact that the names of several new characters are still kept under wraps. It doesn’t stand to reason that she would portray another sibling from the Torettos‘ past, but then again, Dom‘s brother Jakob (John Cena) was not mentioned until F9.
However, Fast X is an exciting chance for bringing in some new faces, like Brie Larson and Alan Ritchson, Jason Momoa, and Daniela Melchior.
The current release date for Fast X is May 19, 2023.
