Vin Diesel expresses his excitement for the forthcoming Fast & Furious 10 in a long social media message, and he shows his desire to make the fans proud. More than two decades after the franchise’s debut, the unexpected juggernaut is getting closer to its ending. Fast & Furious 9 was released into theaters last year, and production on Fast & Furious 10 is scheduled to kick off soon this year. The plot of the film is still being withheld, but it has already been set for release in May 2023. Justin Lin is back in the director’s chair after helming five prior films, including F9.
Fast & Furious 10 has already been revealed as the first installment in a two-part series finale. While spinoffs are still being developed and discussed, the primary saga will be wrapped up. Diesel will reprise his role as Dominic Toretto, alongside the likes of Michelle Rodriguez, Tyrese Gibson, and Ludacris. Fast & Furious 10 has already added two intriguing newcomers to its cast: Jason Momoa, who will portray the antagonist, and Suicide Squad breakthrough Daniela Melchior.
The exact date that Fast & Furious 10 will begin production is still kept under wraps, however Diesel hinted that it may happen soon in a recent social media post. Diesel informed followers through Instagram that he is nearing the “finale of the first tale… that is Fast” by posting a photo of himself as Dom. He characterized the process as “tough,” and he expressed his thanks to Universal for agreeing to split the finale into two installments. Moreover, Diesel said that “There are angels coming to this mythology that will make you all smile,” before finishing by saying that he wants to do the fans proud. You can read the whole of his post down below.

Diesel’s reference to “angels” is likely to conjure up memories of the late Paul Walker, who co-created the Fast & Furious franchise with Diesel in 2001. Since Walker’s death in 2013, the series has found several ways to memorialize him, and it can be presumed that both Fast & Furious 10 and its sequel will go all-in on a homage to him. Diesel’s words might imply that Walker’s daughter is finally joining the series, which has been mentioned by a number of individuals, including Diesel. Alternatively, he may be referring to something quite different. Fast & Furious 10 fans will just have to wait and see what the sequel has in store.
