Universal Pictures has officially revealed the title of the tenth movie of their blockbuster action series The Fast Saga. The eagerly awaited last installment in the Fast and Furious franchise will now be known as Fast X and will hit cinemas on May 29, 2023. Universal Pictures also confirms that the Vin Diesel-led picture has already begun production.

Justin Lin is holding the Fast X director’s chair, and he will also helm the last installment. Chris Morgan has also been tapped to write the penultimate film. While the official cast has been kept under wraps, series veterans Vin Diesel, Michelle Rodriguez, Tyrese Gibson, Jordana Brewster, Nathalie Emmanuel, Ludacris, and Sung Kang are all anticipated to resume their roles.
Stars Jason Momoa (Aquaman), Brie Larson (Captain Marvel), and Daniela Melchior (The Suicide Squad) will all make their series debuts in the tenth installment, with Momoa slated to play the adversary.
2001 marks the beginning of the franchise with the release of the film Fast & Furious, which was followed by a slew of sequels, spin-offs, video games, and merchandise. The film series has amassed a cumulative global gross of more than $6 billion.
