The premiere date for Fantastic Beasts: The Secrets of Dumbledore, David Yates-directed Harry Potter spin-off film, on HBO Max has been confirmed to be set on November 15. After more than a month after its U.S. theatrical debut, the fantasy action-drama starring Eddie Redmayne and Jude Law will be exclusively streaming on HBO Max on Monday, May 30.
The film racked up over $380 million worldwide against an estimated budget of $200 million, making it the lowest-grossing installment in the magical franchises. It is yet unknown if this dismal box office performance would affect the already confirmed Fantastic Beasts sequels.

This Harry Potter spin-off features Eddie Redmayne as Newt Scamander, Dan Fogler as Jacob Kowalski, Katherine Waterston as Tina Goldstein, Alison Sudol as Queenie Goldstein, Jude Law as Albus Dumbledore, Ezra Miller as Credence, Callum Turner as Theseus, and Jessica Williams as Professor Eulalie Hicks with Mads Mikkelsen as the new Gellert Grindelwald.
Additionally, Victoria Yeates, William Nadylam, Aleksandr Kuznetsov, Richard Coyle, Maria Fernanda Cândido, Poppy Corby-Tuech, Oliver Masucci, and Dave Wong were also on board.
David Yates returns to director’s chair of Fantastic Beasts: The Secrets of Dumbledore from a script written by J.K. Rowling and Steve Kloves. Rowling, Heyman, Lionel Wigram, Kloves, and Tim Lewis serve as producers.
