The Flash of DC Comics Ezra Miller was taken into custody late Sunday night in Hilo, Hawaii, after an altercation at a pub.
At 11:30 p.m. on Sunday, March 27, South Hilo patrol officers were called to a bar on Silva Street after receiving a complaint of a disruptive customer. The individual, subsequently identified as Ezra Miller, grew agitated when bargoers started singing karaoke, according to the police investigation. Miller started shouting obscenities, seized a 23-year-old woman’s microphone while she was singing karaoke, and subsequently rushed at a 32-year-old guy playing darts while intoxicated (disorderly conduct violation) (harassment offense). Miller was repeatedly encouraged to calm down by the pub owner, but to no effect.
Miller was taken into custody for disorderly conduct and harassment and charged with both counts, with a total bond set at $500,000. They posted bond and were allowed to go.
Miller made his film debut as Barry Allen/The Flash in Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice in 2016. Since then, they’ve been in Suicide Squad, Justice League, and The Flash, and wrapped up shooting for late last year. The film is slated to arrive in 2023.
