Tyler Rake is back!
Fans now have a brand-new look at the gruesome new adventure of the mercenary in the first teaser for Chris Hemsworth‘s Extraction 2 movie.
Fans were on the edge of their seats at the conclusion of the first movie when Tyler Rake appeared to have perished after a bloody bridge battle, only for it to be revealed in the very last seconds of the movie that he was still alive and ready for combat. Rake will be taken from the streets of Dhaka and dropped into Georgia’s winter forests in the second movie in an effort to protect a vicious gangster’s family. Also scheduled to return is Golshifteh Farahani in the role of Nik Khan.
Although the initial teaser doesn’t disclose much, what it does should pique fans’ interest in the follow-up: A prison brawl, Molotov cocktails, and Rake taking down a chopper by himself all hint at an adventure much crazy than the last movie. On June 16, the movie is only available on Netflix.

It’s not surprising that Netflix quickly ordered a sequel after one of the streaming service’s most popular movies became one of its most-watched titles. Chris Hemsworth is set to reprise his role as mercenary Tyler Rake, and Golshifteh Farahani will reprise her role as Nik Khan.
