Elizabeth Olsen looks to be taking a long break from the Marvel Cinematic Universe but that’s not to suggest that she’s lying low from Hollywood. In reality, the Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness actor is preparing to make her television debut on HBO Max’s new crime thriller Love & Death. Furthermore, Olsen said that she has signed on to feature in a new project, but the specifics are still being kept under wraps.
Earlier this month, claims began floating all over the internet that the 33-year-old actress is in discussions with HBO for a part in the second season of the blockbuster Game of Thrones spinoff series House of the Dragon. In case you didn’t know, Elizabeth really went out for the role of Daenerys Targaryen but eventually didn’t get the part before she became the MCU’s Harbinger of Chaos.
Olsen‘s response suggests that she won’t have any involvement with upcoming seasons of the well-known HBO program. She might simply be being evasive about her true involvement, though.
In the meantime, HBO is streaming House of the Dragon.
