The official Elite Season 5 teaser has been released by Netflix for the forthcoming return of the hit Spanish adolescent drama, which stars Itzan Escamilla, Omar Ayuso, Claudia Salas, Manu Rios, and others. On Friday, April 8, new episodes will be available to stream.
The video, which you can see below, starts with a chaotic all-out party in which the main protagonists strive to forget all of society’s norms and judgments. The new semester at Las Encinas brings with it fresh love triangles, new students, new regulations, and a new unexplained crime.
Las Encinas, the country’s most exclusive school, is where the country’s affluent send their children to study. Carlos Montero (The Mess You Leave Behind) and Jaime Vaca are the creators (Cable Girls). Itzan Escamilla, Omar Ayuso, Martina Cariddi, Georgina Amoros, Claudia Salas, Manu Rios, Pol Granch, Diego Martin, Valentina Zenere, and others appear in the series.
The series has already been renewed for a sixth season, with the addition of new characters, including Ander Puig, Carmen Arrufat, Ana Bokesa, and Alex Pastrana, who will once again put the seniors’ friendship to the test.
Lino Escalera (High Seas), Kike Mallo (Alma), and Elena Trapé direct Elite (The Distances). ZETA Studios is the studio behind the series.
