HBO Max will soon air Dwayne Johnson‘s Black Adam.

According to a statement from WarnerMedia, HBO Max will begin streaming Black Adam on December 16, 2023. Video-on-demand access to the Dwayne Johnson movie is already accessible from online vendors including Amazon, Vudu, and Apple TV.
Black Adam has so far made close to $390 million, which is a rather underwhelming sum given that the film’s production costs, before marketing expenses, were close to $200 million. Although a Black Adam sequel does not seem to be in James Gunn and Peter Safran’s plans for the DC Universe, Dwayne Johnson seems committed to playing the anti-hero.
Warner Bros. Discovery, which just appointed James Gunn and Peter Safran to manage its DC Studios branch, is now working on the comic book-related film, Black Adam. They want to create a linked universe by directing DC’s activities in the next years in cinema, television, and animation.
Shazam! Fury of the Gods, The Flash, Blue Beetle, Aquaman and the Lost Kingdom at Warner Bros. Discovery are all in various phases of post-production. All four DC Universe films are expected to be released in theaters in 2023. Will those cinematic characters emerge in the new DC Universe? Just Gunn and Safran are aware.
Currently showing in cinemas is Black Adam.
