The path to the Black Adam picture starring Dwayne Johnson has been tremendously arduous. The rumors fueled around the actor’s likely participation in the DC Extended Universe spread all the way back to the casting speculations that surrounded Batman vs. Superman: Dawn of Justice. As things progressed, ultimately the actor was given the opportunity to star in his very own standalone movie that featured the renowned anti-hero.
There have been several setbacks since the film was officially put into production. This was owing to Dwayne Johnson‘s hectic schedule, the Covid-19 epidemic, post-production work required the additional time to complete the visual effects, and many times of reshoots. At the beginning of this year, footage for Black Adam was shown for the first time at Cimenacon; however, it was not made available to the general public. Black Adam‘s official trailer is set to arrive on June 8th, according to Johnson. There’s still a week away before the trailer drops, but the actor isn’t going to let us forget about his role in the film just yet.
