Dwayne Johnson is finally bringing Black Adam to the big screen after years of production hell and delays. Some of the first footage from the DC Extended Universe project, which the movie star has frequently promised will radically transform the franchise’s paradigm, was previewed earlier this year due to a sizzle reel of future DC Films. However, no official trailer for the long-awaited film has been released.
Dwayne Johnson released a behind-the-scenes shot with filmmaker Jaume Collett-Serra on his own Instagram, in which he is dressed in costume and discussing what appears to be some unfinished business. Johnson confirmed the official release date as reshoots near completion.

The first trailer for Black Adam is scheduled to be published on June 8, which is a little over two weeks away. Although we saw some official footage in the DC sizzle reel earlier this year, as well as a sneak peek at DC Fandom 2021, we have yet to see a video that really captures what to anticipate. Let’s hope that this eagerly awaited trailer, and, more importantly, the film itself, deliver on its promises. After all, Dwayne Johnson has spent years preparing for this moment in cinema.
On October 22nd, 2022, Black Adam will be released in cinemas.
