It seems like the Dune sequel is coming out early.
After Disney postponed the premiere of the Marvel Studios film Blade, Warner Bros. announced that Dune: Part Two will now debut on Blade’s previous date of November 3, 2023, rather than Nov. 17, 2023.

Timothée Chalamet, Rebecca Ferguson, Zendaya, Josh Brolin, Florence Pugh, Austin Butler, Christopher Walken, and Javier Bardem are among the cast members of the Dune sequel, which is being produced by Legendary Pictures in collaboration with Warners. Mary Parent, Tanya LaPointe, Villeneuve, and Cale Boyter are the producers.
Paul Atreides (Chalamet), working with the Fremen to liberate the desert world of Arrakis from House Harkonnen, completes the second half of Frank Herbert’s famous 1965 novel Dune.
Emperor Shaddam IV (Walken), the monarch who dispatched the Atreides family to Dune, Princess Irulan (Pugh), the emperor’s daughter, and Feyd-Rautha (Butler), the nephew of the baron—the antagonist depicted by Stellan Skarsgard in the first film—are among the new characters.
In spite of the COVID-19 crisis and its simultaneous release in theaters and on HBO Max in October 2021, the original Dune did well at the box office. The science fiction film won six Oscars and had a global box office take of over $400 million.
