Dune: Part Two from Warner Bros. and Legendary Entertainment has started production.

Returning cast members are Timothée Chalamet, Zendaya, Josh Brolin, Rebecca Ferguson, Charlotte Rampling, Dave Bautista, Javier Bardem, Stellan Skarsgård, and Stephen McKinley Henderson. Joining those familiar faces in Denis Villeneuve’s follow-up are newcomers Florence Pugh, Christopher Walken, Lea Seydoux, Souheila Yacoub, and Austin Butler.
The screenplay was co-written by Denis Villeneuve and Jon Spaihts. Villeneuve also served as the film’s producer, along with Cale Boyter, Mary Parent, Tanya Lapointe, and Patrick McCormick. Executive producers are Herbert W. Gains, Josh Grode, Brian Herbert, Thomas Tull, Richard P. Rubinstein, Byron Merritt, Kim Herbert, Jon Spaihts, and John Harrison.
Dune: Part Two is currently being filmed in many places, including Budapest, Jordan, Abu Dhabi, and Italy. Warner Bros. moved back the release date of the sequel from October 20, 2023, to November 17, 2023 — the same date as Lionsgate’s prequel The Hunger Games: The Ballad of Songbirds and Snakes.
