Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness is still doing well at the film office, with over $700 million in worldwide receipts. It’s just a matter of time until the film is released on streaming services, allowing fans to watch it again in the comfort of their own homes. There have been rumors regarding when the picture would be released on Disney+, and now it appears that we may have a date.
Disney+ Germany’s official Instagram account may have mistakenly disclosed the film’s release date on the platform. Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness, according to the now-deleted article, would premiere on Disney+ on June 22 alongside a “making of” documentary.

Disney+ has yet to make an official announcement or remark on whether or not the rumored date is accurate. The picture is planned to be available on streaming and home media at least 45 days following its theatrical debut, completing its window.
The June 22 release date is more than 45 days after its theatrical premiere in the United States, so it’s most likely real, though we’ll have to wait for an official statement from the streaming service. However, it’s possible that Disney+ Germany’s social media staff made a mistake, so we’ll have to take it with a grain of salt.
If you look at the release dates for Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings and Eternals on Disney+, you’ll notice that they had a 70 and 68-day gap between their theatrical and streaming releases, respectively, so there’s a chance that the June 22 date isn’t accurate because it would be a 47-day gap, which is unusual. Let’s simply wait for Disney+ to make an official statement about its platform’s rollout date.
Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness is still in cinemas throughout the world.
