Not long ago, there was a show called Inhumans that aired for one season before being abruptly canceled. However, their ruler, Black Bolt, played by Anson Mount, makes a cameo appearance in Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness. Does this imply that they’ll be joining the MCU as well?

SPOILER ALERTS!
Many people were surprised to find Anson Mount‘s Black Bolt among the council’s respectable heroes when Baron Mordo revealed the members of the Illuminati. He was even dubbed the King of the Inhumans, and it was said that even a whisper might kill him because of how his voice changed after undergoing the Terrigen Mist.
This had everyone on the edge of their seats, particularly fans of the canceled Inhumans series. See, not all Marvel ventures were successful, some bombed so terribly that fans forgot about them, and the Inhumans series from 2017 was one of them. It didn’t do credit to the formidable species, and the Inhumans version on Agents of SHIELD was far superior.

With the debut of Black Bolt as the King of the Inhumans, there is a chance that the formidable race may be included in the MCU. Given that Wanda introduced and murdered Black Bolt from Earth 838, the Inhumans on Earth 616 might easily have their equivalents. After all, everything is conceivable in the multiverse.
The chance of Inhumans receiving its own reboot is still a long way off, considering that everyone’s attention is focused on the X-Men and Fantastic Four during the current fourth phase of the MCU, but the potential of it returning in a reboot cannot be disregarded.
Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness is presently in theaters.
