The latest film from Marvel Studios, Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness took fans aback guard with several surprising twists. Particularly, the arrival of the Illuminati really took audiences off guard, particularly when it came to the appearance of certain characters. Black Bolt (Anson Mount) was among these characters.
In the Illuminati‘s huge disclosure, Doctor Strange gives a report to the council, in which Black Bolt‘s powers are shown in a flashback. Anson Mount played the role in the critically praised Inhumans series, although some fans perceived his return in this film as a fun wink and nod to fans.

Given how the Illuminati was used, it is probable that any of these characters may return in other variants from other realities. The Black Bolt portrayed by Anson Mount was a variant of the one seen in the Inhumans series, therefore it would not be completely out of the question for him to reprise the character in another work. It would be intriguing to see further tie-ins to the series, regardless of whether or not that would be included in a third Doctor Strange movie or anything else.
