Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness has unveiled an official Funko Pop! figure for a mysterious character who has yet to show up in any promotional material.
A Funko Pop! bobble-head of a Marvel heroine called Sara, who is undoubtedly featured in the impending sequel to Doctor Strange, is now available for pre-order on The Mighty Hobby Shop. While there is currently little information known about Sara beyond the figure’s simplified depiction of her look, Marvel fans have some guesses about who she is.

Sara portrayed by the Funko Pop! is buzzed to be Sara Wolfe, who was a key love interest of the character Wong (played by Benedict Wong in Multiverse of Madness). Others, on the other hand, speculate that this Sara is really Sara Krowler, a.k.a. Baroness Mordo, the mother of Multiverse of Madness antagonist Karl Mordo (played by Chiwetel Ejiofor). Both figures are closely linked to Doctor Strange mythology, implying that one of them may be that character.

Having said that, Sara from Multiverse of Madness may yet be a completely different character.
Sara Wolfe was developed, in any case, by the pair of Chris Claremont and Gene Colan. She made her debut in Doctor Strange #38 in 1979. Meanwhile, R.J.M. Lofficier, Roy Thomas, and Tom Sutton developed Sara Krowler, who made her debut in 1989’s Doctor Strange, Sorcerer Supreme #6.
Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness is helmed by Sam Raimi and stars Benedict Cumberbatch as Doctor Strange, Xochitl Gomez as America Chavez, Rachel McAdams as Christine Palmer, Elizabeth Olsen as Wanda Maximoff/Scarlet Witch, and Michael Stuhlbarg as Nicodemus West, in addition to Wong and Ejiofor as Wong and Karl Mordo, respectively. Additionally, the movie stars Patrick Stewart, who seems to be reprising his role as Charles Xavier from the X-Men films produced by 20th Century Fox.
The identity of Sara will be revealed on Friday, May 6, when Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness opens in cinemas.
