A new Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness‘ featurette delves into the character of Scarlet Witch, played by Elizabeth Olsen, as well as the film’s links to the Disney+ series WandaVision.
The new video, which was published on Twitter by Marvel Studios, contains snippets from WandaVision, including Paul Bettany‘s Vision questioning, “What is grief, if not love persevering?” It’s a scene hinting that Bettany’s Vision is likely to make a comeback in Multiverse of Madness, and it seems to be a confirmation that Vision is still very much on Wanda’s mind. Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness, being billed as the first Marvel Cinematic Universe horror film, marks the return of Cumberbatch, who resumes his role as Dr. Stephen Strange. The Scarlet Witch, played by Elizabeth Olsen, who is fresh off of having WandaVision success, will accompany the Sorcerer Supreme this time around. The events of the sequel are supposed to be intertwined with those of WandaVision, Loki, and Spider-Man: No Way Home.
Doctor Strange 2 is set to swoop into cinemas on May 6.
