The photographs from the Marvel’s Echo set give us our first glimpse at Vincent D’Onofrio’s Kingpin in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. In the first season of Daredevil, which debuted on Netflix in 2016, Vincent D’Onofrio’s Kingpin/Wilson Fisk was initially presented to viewers.
Over the course of the show’s three seasons, D’Onofrio’s depiction of Kingpin emerged as a highlight, inspiring audiences to want to see Kingpin in a significant MCU project. In 2021, when D’Onofrio returned to the Hawkeye series, Kingpin made his MCU debut. His long-awaited reappearance, meanwhile, did not reveal if the Kingpin from the MCU is the same as the one from Daredevil, but it did add fresh elements to his tale.
Throughout the Hawkeye series, Kingpin was touted as the “uncle” of Maya Lopez a.k.a. Echo (Alaqua Cox). Many fans conjectured that Echo and Kingpin’s MCU tales would be intertwined because of their close relationships in the comics. Additionally, there were rumors that Vincent D’Onofrio might reprise his role as Kingpin in the upcoming spinoff series Echo, which would star Maya Lopez (Alaqua Cox). The return of Charlie Cox’s Daredevil as well as Kingpin has both been reported to appear in the season.

A recent batch of images from the Echo series, taken by Atlanta Filming, reveal Vincent D’Onofrio making his MCU comeback as Kingpin.
These Echo images reveal that D’Onofrio will be reprising his role as Kingpin for the MCU Phase 5 Disney+ program, which is scheduled to premiere next summer, even though the scene’s context is still unknown.
Below are the first looks at Vincent D’Onofrio’s portrayal of Kingpin in the upcoming Marvel’s Echo television series.
Marvel’s Echo will be available on Disney+ in the summer of 2023, according to official confirmation. It has been revealed that Daredevil: Born Again will be published in the spring of 2024.
